• August 2026 Police Report - The Sun Times News (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline residents can see how local police spent August, with officers handling four reported assaults, two stolen-vehicle calls, several fraud cases, and 23 crashes, six involving injuries. The department also joined a school-supply "Stuff a Bus" drive and hosted an overdose-awareness booth at the Saline Farmers Market, distributing Narcan and resources to the community.
   

• Saline District Library: Notice of Budget Hearing 9/15/26 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline residents are invited to a Sept. 15 budget hearing at the Saline District Library on North Maple Road, where the proposed 2026–27 operating budget and supporting property tax millage will be discussed. Survey teams will inspect storm damage (mlive.com) — A powerful line of storms that knocked out power to hundreds of thousands across Southeast Michigan also tracked close to Saline, with radar indicating possible tornado development along a line extending near the city. National Weather Service teams are surveying damage in Metro Detroit today to determine if a tornado actually touched down, while officials review radar and photos from Thursday's severe weather.
