Saline Schools Bond Projects Move Forward Across District (thesuntimesnews.com) — Major bond-funded upgrades are reshaping Saline schools, from a new early childhood center on Hines Drive to expanded learning spaces at Heritage and revamped robotics and athletic facilities at Saline Middle School. Saline High School's pool overhaul is also scheduled, all part of the $180 million bond voters approved, with most projects targeting completion by August 2027.

Saline Twp: Notice of Registration 11/3/26 (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline Township voters are being reminded to register and prepare for the Nov. 3, 2026 election, which includes key state offices, school board seats and a major Saline Area Fire Authority millage proposal. The notice explains how and where to register, important registration deadlines, in-person clerk hours, and how to access sample ballots and full proposal text before you vote.

Dominant starts shape latest Ann Arbor-area football power rankings (mlive.com) — Saline's football team sits firmly atop the Ann Arbor-area power rankings after a 58-0 rout of Dexter, extending its unbeaten start to 4-0. The Hornets have outscored opponents 204-25 and are being touted as poised for another big run, while Chelsea, Whitmore Lake, and several other nearby programs round out the rankings.
4. As Data Centers Move Forward, Local Leaders Say Communities Need More Tools (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline Township is in the thick of managing a massive Related Digital data center project, weighing noise, groundwater, lighting and wastewater issues while construction continues. A new University of Michigan survey shows many Michigan officials share similar worries about data centers' environmental impacts and infrastructure demands, even as they acknowledge potential tax and job benefits.
5. Michigan Senate seat up for grabs between former state rep, local party chair (mlive.com) — A Saline resident, Republican Jason Rogers, is facing Democrat Felicia Brabec of Pittsfield Township for the open Michigan Senate District 15 seat in November.
