The Arbor Hospice Foundation is hosting its third annual fundraiser, Savour the Journey: A celebration of the things we love about life, at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel, 3200 Boardwalk Dr., on Saturday, May 18 at 6 p.m. The gala will support Arbor Hospice programs and services, including complementary therapies, pediatric care, grief support and uncompensated care.
The evening offers guests a chance to “savour” fine wine and a splendid strolling supper featuring delicious selections prepared by the area’s top chefs from local eateries. Featured restaurants include The Common Grill, Food For All Seasons, Gratzi, Jefferson Market & Cakery, La Marsa Mediterranean Cuisine, Makkara Sushi, Sava’s, Terry B’s, Travis Pointe Country Club, Vinology and Zingerman’s Catering and Events, and Bakehouse. Rounding out the affair will be music and dancing, as well as an auction. The evening will also feature a wine pull with bottles ranging in value from $50 to $250.
“Savour the Journey is The Arbor Hospice Foundation’s only fund raising event of the year,” said Heidi Grix, Executive Director of The Arbor Hospice Foundation. “The money we raise supports four important areas of service Arbor Hospice delivers to patients and families – complementary therapies, pediatric hospice care, grief support and uncompensated care. It’s extremely gratifying to see so many people demonstrate their belief in the work we do by joining in this very special evening.”
