All these opportunities and more await children and their families at the 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck event sponsored by Success by 6 Great Start Collaborative. This free family event will be held on Saturday, May 12th from 9 am to noon in the Briarwood Mall parking lot behind Sears. Last year more than 3,000 people joined us for this exciting event and this year promises to be even bigger!
Success by 6 Great Start Collaborative's Touch-A-Truck event is designed to provide a fun learning opportunity for the whole family. In addition to the trucks, emergency response vehicles, farm equipment and more, local non-profits and businesses will be on hand to share information about preschool opportunities, childcare, health services and a wide variety of other family services.

This year we are pleased to welcome the Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA), part of the "Grow Up Great Program" from PNC Bank. The MLA includes interactive kiosks with educational materials and crafts for kids and their parents all housed in two colorful tents. In 2004, PNC launched their "Grow Up Great" bilingual program to help prepare children for success in school and in life.
