Triple Your Salvation Army Red Kettle Donation Friday, Dec. 14 Thanks to a 2-for-1 Match by an Anonymous Donor

This Friday, Dec. 14, Briarwood Mall shoppers can triple their generosity when they donate to The Salvation Army of Washtenaw County’s (TSA-WC) red kettles.

Throughout the day, every $1 dropped into each of eight kettles around the Ann Arbor mall will be transformed into a$3 donation thanks to a generous, anonymous donor.  Contributions will be matched 2-for-1 up to $1,000 per kettle for a potential $8,000 boost to the nonprofit.

The Briarwood kettle match is timely in that red kettle donations in Ann Arbor are down more than 20 percent.

Donations can be made at any of the three kettles located inside the mall or five outdoor kettles positioned at entrances during mall hours of 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

“The two for one match this Friday is an amazing opportunity for supporters to truly make every dollar count,” said Major John Williams, TSA-WC coordinator. ”We encourage Briarwood shoppers to support The Salvation Army in making the most of this generous donation.”
