Our featured artist during September and October is Katherine Downie. Katherine's work will be exhibited at Two Twelve during these months, with an artist's reception on Friday, September 13, from 7 to 9pm. Join us to meet the artist and view her intriguing work.
"Written language is such a constant part of our lives that we seldom give it a second thought," says Downie about her work. "My paintings remove words from their traditional settings and present them as something that is--in a word--art."
