Attendees of Automotive Talk and Tour Learned How to Improve Auto Fuel Economy

The SLTF event Automotive Talk and Tour: Making the Most of Your Fuel was a big success.

A big thank you to Allen Day, the Chair of the Automotive Department, for giving tips to attendees on how to improve auto fuel economy and save money at the same time.

Some of the tips Allen Day gave during the event include:

·         Inflating tires to correct pressure

·         Picking routes that allow you to travel at the car’s most efficient range of speeds

·         Keeping brakes well oiled so they don’t create drag
