JACKSON, Mich. – Baker College of Jackson officials have announced Jaime Devine, of Parma, as the recipient of the 2015 Ed Kurtz Leadership Scholarship award.
The $2,500 scholarship is awarded annually to a Baker College student who demonstrates academic achievement and either a commitment to community service or a successful balance of work, family and school obligations.
“Jaime is a leader, mentor, role model and giver,” said Patricia A. Kaufman, Ed.D., Baker College of Jackson president. “While pursuing an education to meet her career goals and being a full time mother and wife, Jaime still creates time to serve her community. She exemplifies the character traits that were identified when the award was formed, making her the ideal recipient of this year’s scholarship.”
