8th Annual Oktoberfest |Harvest of the Arts Festival on September 28th & 29th!
Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Oktoberfest | Harvest of the Arts!

This year’s Oktoberfest | Harvest of the Arts Festival is hosted by Saline Main Street and the Saline Downtown Merchants Association. This free community event includes fine art, family activities, German food, and live entertainment on two separate stages for all ages!
Friday night is party night! 5 pm – 11 pm
The Oktoberfest Bier Garten will open the festivities on Friday, September 28th from 5 pm to 11 pm with wonderful German and local food, a beer/wine tent and lively German entertainment provided by the Frankenmude Fraz’n. New this year is a very popular German game called Hammerschlagen! We will explain more about that in a future post. You can sign up to play at the Bier Garten on Friday night.
Saturday is family day! 10 am to 7 pm
The Harvest of the Arts Fine Art Fair runs on Saturday, September 29th from 10 am to 5 pm, with over 40 juried fine art booths lining N. Ann Arbor Street. The 212 Art Center’s Inspiration Station will host a hands-on art project for adults and a local music stage will add to the fun.

The Electric Vehicle Display will be back this year on S. Ann Arbor Street from 4 pm to 7 pm. The Lindenberg Friendship Committee will again serve up traditional German food. You will also be able to choose from other food vendors like Mangiamo’s famous pizza, Brecon Grille’s corned beef and brisket with sauerkraut, Downtown Diner’s burritos, Bayou Billy Soda, and Bavarian Nuts. Kiwanis and the Lion’s Club will also be back again this year.
Live entertainment will continue on the Main Stage all day Saturday. The lineup includes the Saline Fiddlers, the New Horizons German Band, and many others!

Bring your children down to the popular Kinderplatz! area where there will be free pony rides, a petting zoo, bouncers, and crafts.
The Saline Farmer’s Market will be going on from 8 am to 1 pm in the parking lot behind Mac’s.
