Scarves, Hats, and Gloves will polish your look!

In my last post I discussed some options to consider when. You don't always have to buy a new coat to get an updated and fresh look for winter. You can achieve this by adding inexpensive Outerwear accessories like scarves,hats,and gloves. 

When you are selecting the accessories to add to your winter apparel, first of all decide the coat you are trying to accessorize. This will help you to make your selections easily without getting overwhelmed. I don't usually recommend matching your hats, gloves, or scarves exactly to your coat. It can really polish off your outfit if you chose a color that complements both your coat, and your complexion. Choose a color that doesn't overwhelm you, but if you are selecting something that is up around your neck like a scarf or hat pick a color that looks good around your face. It is important to select your hat and scarf first, as these will be around your face.

Finally you can then move onto your gloves. Some like mittens, some prefer gloves. Do you want leather, or is a nice cashmere blend acceptable? It is your preference! You can even buy texting gloves! Texting gloves have the tips smooth, so that you don't have to take off your gloves to text a message on your phone.

In conclusion, it isn't always necessary to buy a new coat each winter season. Nice accessories can give your older coat a lift!
