Trick-or-Treat Trail Attracts Kids, Local Businesses
Local businesses pass out candy to 200+ trick or treaters
The Saline Parks & Rec Department's 2nd annual Trick or Treat Trail was held Thursday night. Over 30 local businesses participated. They decorated their table, donned halloween costumes and gave over 200 youngsters a safe and fun trick or treating experience.
The Trick or Treat Trail is a neat win-win program for parents with young children and for our local businesses. The children get to trick or treat with ideal weather conditions (no fussy jackets, no wind or rain) they get candy, play on the inflatable bouncers (provided by CARES) do crafts, and did I mention get candy? The business owners make personal contact with over 200 families and are availalbe to answer questions and hand out promotional information. Where else can you meet a dentist dressed up as a fairy princess? The Domino's Pizza owner dressed as a scarecrow? The local chiropractor dressed as Fred Flinstone?
