The city of Saline is planning a cleanup of Oakwood Cemetery on October 8-12.
According to the city, “All foreign materials, except flowers, pots, saddles, and other decorations, which are being maintained in good condition and are placed on the monument or marker in such a manner so as to not interfere with the care of the grounds around the monument or marker, shall be removed prior to the scheduled clean-up time above.”
New items can be placed beginning Oct. 13 after the clean-up.
