Auditions for "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"

Auditions will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17 and Thursday, October 20 in the Choir Room in the Saline Middle School, 7190 N. Maple Rd., Saline, MI.  You can come to one or the other audition time. Rehearsals will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and also Saturday mornings beginning October 22.  The show dates will be December 1-4 at Stone Arch and Events.

 

This play is an original adaptation of the poem by Robert May, written and directed by Kara Fay Cardella.   It is presented by Saline Area Players.

Auditioners of all ages are encouraged to attend. Those auditioning will read from the script, sing in small groups and play some acting games.  Character descriptions and audition forms are available at the Saline Area Players' website:www.salineareaplayers.org   Additional questions about auditions should be directed to karafay@gmail.com

Everyone knows the basic story of Rudoph.  This play will is a fun adaptation of the story with parts for all the reindeer to be played by teens or adults, some additional colorful characters, and lots of parts for kids.  It will include a variety of familiar songs including We are Santa’s Elves, Baby It’s Cold Outside, and I’m Gettin’ Nuttin’ for Christmas.
