Beginning Colored Pencil "18 Pencils And You're On Your Way!"

Tuesdays (3 weeks) $40  (all materials are supplied by instructor)  

Colored Pencil is a great way to begin to learn to paint without the mess. Many lessons learned in this class are transferrable to other medium. If you already paint, but find that you like to paint very "tightly" and use a lot of "detailing", this medium is right up your alley. You will learn about the color wheel, different techniques including burnishing, blending, and mixing colors (yes, you can do that in pencil!).  Kathe will teach you her “18 Pencil” method (published in Ann Kullberg’s “CP Magazine”).
