CITGO and Bess the Book Bus Visit Local Schools to Celebrate Literacy

On Tuesday, May 28th, CITGO and Bess the Book Bus, a mobile literacy program, will make several stops at local Saline schools. Mayor Brian Marl and Superintendent Scot Graden will also be in attendance to celebrate the importance and power of reading.

At 9:00 AM, Jennifer Frances, founder of Bess the Book Bus, will kick off the day at Harvest Elementary before moving on to Heritage and Pleasant Ridge Elementary schools. Jennifer will read to children in kindergarten through 3rd grade, and each of the students will have the chance to pick out a free book.
