Harvest Time at Rentschler Farm

Fall event with small children's activities like a clown with balloons, pumpkin painting, picture painting, merry-go-round, wagon rides, seeing live animals, though not a petting farm.


Traditional crafts, food wagons, furnished 1930s house and outbuildings with docents, gift shop.


Entertainment on the hour between 1:00-3:00 in half hour segments. "A Boy Named Orange" written by an 11-year old and performed by the Saline Area Players in the upper barn. All activities are free, but there is an admission to the grounds: $1 adults, children free.

Rentschler Farm is at 1265 E. Michigan Avenue, one mile east of Downtown Saline. Watch for signs. Park next door at Sauk Trail Shopping Center. Limited handicap parking within the farm complex.
