Historical Society Holds Program on the War of 1812

The Saline Area Historical Society presents the third of its winter/spring education programs. Today, John Gibney, director of the Monroe Historical Museums and the River Raisin Battlefield, will return to Saline to talke about the War of 1812. You'll discover that Michigan's only major battlefield from the war is not so far from Saline, among plenty of other fascinating historical facts.

The program will be held at the Saline District Library. It's free and open to the public.
