Huron Valley Ambulance’s Camp 9-1-1 is a FREE interactive 2-day camp, where 8-12 year olds learn about safety and injury prevention, first aid, CPR, AED and Emergency Medical Service careers. Camp 9-1-1 offers a variety of experiences including touring an ambulance, learning CPR, and visiting a local emergency room. HVA Paramedics and EMTs serve as camp counselors, teaching campers about safety at home and at play, how to perform life savings skills on injured victims, and all about Emergency Services careers. Camp 9-1-1 runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 20 and Thursday June 21 at St. Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital.
Camp 9-1-1 registration is first come, first served, and enrollment is limited to 30 participants per camp.
