During this, the 25th year of the historical society, the Rentschler Farm windows were professionally restored. It has been a long process working on 24 windows! Jeffrey Weatherford, whose Tecumseh business is Preservation by Design, is an architectural conservator and historic preservation consultant. He will present a Power Point program showing the planning, the process, and the results.
Learn what was done to preserve the Rentschler windows, what options are available for your windows, and how to decide when restoration is wiser than replacement. Chris Schmidt, licensed builder and master carpenter will assist in the presentation. The restoration project, the cost of which was underwritten by the City of Saline, is the joint effort of Jeffrey Weatherford and Chris Schmidt.
Everyone is invited and encouraged attend, as well as to enjoy the farm at the beginning of another season. The animals will be back at the farm for the summer.
