Saline Area Players Hold Auditions for Carol Burnett Show Tribute

The Saline Area Players are holding auditions Jan. 9 and 10 for a Carol Burnet Show tribute.

They will be casting at least two women and three men to play several zany characters. Auditions will consister of improvisation, games, movement and cold readings. You may be asked to sing songs such as "Happy Birthday" or "Yankee Doodle Dandy." Callbacks, if needed, will be Jan. 12.

The shows will be March 8-11, with three evening shows and two matinees, performed at Stone Arch.

Rehearsals will begin Jan. 16 and will take place Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with a possible occasional practice Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.
