Washtenaw County Special Olympics Spring Games

Please join us as more than 140 Washtenaw County Special Olympics athletes participate and compete in the 2013 Spring Games Event that will take place at Saline High School. The day begin's with Opening Ceremonies that includes a parade with our athletes,  student volunteers, the Knight's of Columbus, community leaders, along with huge support from the University of Michigan Athletic Department's students and staff. Please see UM Athletic Director Dave Brandon's commentary that is posted on our Facebook page (Special Olympics Michigan Washtenaw County Area 20), that best describes not only this event, but the overall picture of Special Olympics, it's athletes, and the significance of the support that is received from the community.
