Food Show Featuring Exhibitors from Entire Great Lakes Coming to Ann Arbor Thursday, October 9

Public Hours to Explore Over 50 Up and Coming Food Manufacturers Available from 4 pm to 6 pm

The demand for locally produced, healthier food and beverage options with limited if any additives and preservatives continues to grow at a staggering rate. This trend that resonates across the grocery, food service and hospitality industries has prompted Michigan-based event producer The Quintessential Event Company to debut the Great Lakes Food Entrepreneur Summit on Thursday, October 9, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds in Ann Arbor.

Featuring exhibits from over 50 up and coming food and beverage manufacturers from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, the Great Lakes Food Entrepreneur Summit is the first food show of its to kind to showcase the bounty of the entire Great Lakes region. Attendees will include food buyers representing grocers, restaurants, caterers, schools & universities, hospitals and more. Chefs and culinary students are also encouraged to attend.

The Great Lakes Food Summit will be opened for a general public preview for a very limited time on Thursday, October 9 – from 4 pm to 6 pm. If you are a foodie, this is your chance to explore some amazing edibles – many before they have been seen on local store shelves.

The event will be housed in Building A of the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds in Ann Arbor. Located south of I-94 at 5055 Ann Arbor Saline Road, this expansive, temperature controlled exhibit hall is an ideal and easily accessed site for this event. Ample free parking is available.
