Goldfish Swim School Ann Arbor Celebrates Five Years of Teaching Local Kids Water and Swim Safety Skills

Goldfish Swim School, the country’s leading water safety and swim lesson school offering infant and child swim lessons, is celebrating the five year anniversary of their Ann Arbor facility this month. Goldfish Swim School provides swim instruction to children ages 4 months to 12 years-old in a unique setting with highly trained instructors, small class sizes (max 4:1 student to teacher ratio), shiver-free 90-degree pools, and a state-of-the-art water purification system.

Since Goldfish Swim School Ann Arbor opened its doors in 2011, they have welcomed over 10,000 kids into their pool for swim lessons. General Manager Maggie Honeyman has been with Goldfish Ann Arbor since the opening and she has seen how this swim and water safety resource has impacted the community. “I have been a part of the Ann Arbor swim community my whole life. I was raised here and swam in high school and college. My role at Goldfish Swim School has been a natural extension of my passion for swimming and my hometown. I love hearing stories from our families about how their experience at Goldfish has made a positive difference in their lives.”

Owner Richard Simtob adds, “We are passionate about teaching kids to swim. That is our mission and it has been a privilege to be a resource in this community for the past five years. We look forward to connecting with more and more families and future swimmers in the years ahead.”

Goldfish Swim School Ann Arbor (2107 West Stadium Boulevard, Ann Arbor) is hosting a FREE anniversary celebration for the community on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. Highlights include free open swim, a moon bounce obstacle course, dunk tank, crafts and prizes.
