While vacationing in South Carolina, a Washtenaw County couple came across a dog that had been shot and had a broken leg. A caring "local" along with my friend got the dog (Griffin) the surgery he needed. Unfortunately, once they returned home and took Griffin to their vet it was found that the pin in the leg was too long and broke through the skin :( MSU took Griffin as an emergency case and a second surgery was needed- NOT CHEAP!
