How to Get Tickets to See Michelle Obama in Detroit Friday

The first lady will campaign for Democrats Mark Schauer and Gary Peters Friday. The event is free, but tickets are required.

First Lady Michelle Obama will be in Detroit Friday to stump for Democrats Mark Schauer and Gary Peters, who are running for governor and U.S. Senate, respectively.

Tickets are required for the campaign event, which is free and open to the public. It will be held at 12:45 p.m. at the Detroit Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning 10 a.m. Wednesday at Michigan Democratic Party coordinated offices across Detroit. Locations are:
