How to Get Tickets to See Michelle Obama in Detroit Friday

First Lady Michelle Obama will be in Detroit Friday to stump for Democrats Mark Schauer and Gary Peters, who are running for governor and U.S. Senate, respectively.

Tickets are required for the campaign event, which is free and open to the public. It will be held at 12:45 p.m. at the Detroit Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning 10 a.m. Wednesday at Michigan Democratic Party coordinated offices across Detroit. Locations are:

• Detroit East Side: 17243 Mack Ave., Detroit
• Detroit West Side: 18409 Livernois Ave., Detroit
• Sterling Heights: 33804 Schoenherr Road, Sterling Heights
• Southfield: 17100 W. Twelve Mile Road, Lower Level, Southfield
• Pontiac: 4 N. Saginaw, 2nd Floor, Pontiac
• Dearborn: 23918 Cherry Hill St., Dearborn
• Ann Arbor: 3810 Packard Road, Suite 230, Ann Arbor

It’s unclear how many tickets will be available.
