This is the biggest science & astronomy event in SE MI. Activities include “What if there was no moon?” talk, 3D tour of the solar system, making a comet, crawl-inside planetarium, an impromptu play. And if the weather allows: more than 40 telescopes to see craters on the moon, the rings of Saturn and maybe even Pluto! It’s Sept 25 and 26 (6pm to midnight), and is free. Maple Beach inside Kensington Metro Park (entrance sticker required). This volunteer-led event is in its 19th year.
