Lloyd Carr to Address 463 Saline High Graduates

Former University of Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr is the speaker for the  class of 2012 Commencement at 6 p.m., June 3, at Hornet Stadium.

This year, 463 students will graduate from Saline High School.

Gates to Hornet Stadium open at 5 p.m. The line for commencement entrance is at the gate entrance adjacent to the south parking lot. Seats are first-come, first-serve. 

Here are some facts about the class of 2012:

• There are 14 National Merit Semi-Finalists
• There are 13 National Merit Finalists
• There are 10 National Merit Commended Scholars
• There are 17 students having a cumulative unweighted grade point average of 4.0 or higher
• There are 72 students having a cumulative weighted grade point average of 4.0 or higher
• There are 124 students having a cumulative unweighted grade point average of 3.667 or higher
• There are 158 Students having a cumulative weighted grade point average of 3.667 or higher
