The Jackson County Fallen Officers Memorial Scholarship fund was established following the death of Jackson City Police Officer James Bonneau who was killed in 2010. The scholarships are for students who are pursuing degrees in law enforcement or fire service. Selection of the recipients was based on an essay and the student’s GPA.
