SALINE, Aug 14, 2013 - Washtenaw Christian Academy is happy to announce that Mr. Peter Laugen has happily accepted their offer to join the WCA family as the new Head of School/High School Principal.

Pete has extensive experience in secondary academic settings; he’s joked on several occasions that he’s served in every role from substitute teacher to Head of School in his career! After receiving his B.A. from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Pete secured his first teaching position at Mountain Sky Junior High in Scottsdale Arizona where he was responsible for P.E., Spanish, Language Arts, and Computers classes. His heart for discipline through restoration quickly propelled him in the role of Student Services Advisor. In 2010, he began the Middle School Principal and in June 2012 he accepted the temporary position as Scottsdale Christian’s Interim Superintendent.
