Pittsfield Police Seek Child Luring Suspect

are searching for a man suspected of attempting to lure a 14-year-old girl.

The girl told police she was waiting at the bus stop on the 1500 block of Long Meadow Trail around 6:40 a.m. on Oct. 5 when a man of heavy build approached her and started asking her questions. 

According to police, when the girl did not answer his questions, he left the area.

The girl told police the man was driving a white or red pickup truck or SUV.

Police are asking that if you have seen the suspect or the vehicle in the area, to contact the Pittsfield Township Department of Public Safety immediately at 734-822-4911.
