Pittsfield Township Reviews New Ordinances at November Meeting

Officer Hanselman, who will be retiring at the tail end of November, was recognized by the board, safety department and fellow union members for his outstanding efforts over a 30 year span in Pittsfield Township. In honor of Hanselman, Heimer Industrial Drive – off Platt Road – will be renamed Hanselman Drive.

“It’s been a very enjoyable 30 years in Pittsfield Township. It’s been a long time, and public safety has come a long way. I consider it the first top-notch department in the whole county,” said a teary-eyed Hanselman after the presentation.
