Saline Area Players hold Auditions

Auditions for Country Hoedown Jamboree

Saline Area Players announce auditions for Country Hoedown Jamboree on September 10, 7-8:30 at Liberty School, 7265 N Ann Arbor St, Saline, MI. For years now, one of SAP’s traditions is to perform at Rentschler Farm during their Farm Harvest Days. Saline Area Players will perform at 1 & 3:30 PM on October 4.

Auditions are open to those ages 5 yo – adult. There is no need to prepare anything. Be ready to sing, read from an abbreviated script, improvise and move with a purpose. The show will give historical references, feature country themed song and dance, as well as a few short skits and jokes. Appropriate for family audiences. You don’t need to be Minnie Pearl, Ted Clampett, Alfalfa or Spanky to audition for this show. Anyone with a song in their heart and a hop in their step is encouraged to come join us!

If you’re looking for a fun performance opportunity with minimal rehearsals, this could be a good show for you. Rehearsals will be Sept 17 & 24, and October 1 from 7-8:30 PM with a dress rehearsal October 3 from 1-3:00 PM.
