Saline Area Players hold auditions Oct 14 & 15

Saline Area Players announce auditions for Murder and Mayhem at Mangiamo’s on September 14 & 15, 7-9:00 PM at Liberty School, 7265 N Ann Arbor St, Saline (registration begins at 6:30 PM). This original production which will be performed October 16-18 & 23-25 at Mangiamo Italian Grill in Saline is an interactive murder mystery show with lots of opportunity for actors to have input into their characters with flexible scripting.

Auditions for adults will consist primarily of theatre games and improv situations. Looking for 3-4 adults, male and female. We would also like to know your quirky talents...can you play a song with your nose? Can you yodel or play the ukulele? Do you sing or tap dance? These will be incorporated into the show. Come prepared to move, play and showcase your unique talent. Don’t think you are available for all 6 shows? Not a problem - we may have a rotating cast.

Rehearsals will take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6-9 PM. The basic premise is a group of college friends have been hosting the Halloween party of the year. Everyone in town wants to go and so tickets must be sold to even get in. During the night’s festivities - which will include a costume contest and games - someone dies a gruesome death - almost in front of the audience. The audience must then figure out who did it, and how they did it.
