Two Saline artists will be among the exhibitors at the seventh annual Art-A-Licious festival, which will take place Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20 and 21, in downtown Adrian, Mich.
Art-A-Licious, a juried fine arts fair, features more than 80 artists, plus live entertainment and a variety of activities for children and families.
Artists from the Saline area are Amara Karapas, a sculptor and painter, and Kelsey Keyes, who makes beadwork and mosaics from recycled materials.

In addition to artists from Lenawee, Lucas, Monroe, Washtenaw, Jackson and Hillsdale counties, this year's festival has drawn a number of exhibitors from northern Michigan and across Ohio — as well as a few from further away, including Indiana, Texas and Virginia.
"I think people will be incredibly surprised at the lineup of artists — the diversity and the talent," said Nancy Weatherby, art fair coordinator for Art-A-Licious.

Weatherby said one of the unique draws of an art festival is that it allows people to make personal connections with artists, making purchases more meaningful.
"You'll have a chance to talk to the artists themselves, son that something you purchase as a gift, or even for your own collection, has a story behind it," she said.
A new feature of Art-A-Licious this year is the Emerging Artists Showcase for younger exhibitors. Weatherby said these are "high school and college students who have achieved a level of maturity in their art, but have not gotten involved in direct sales."
Activities at Art-A-Licious include a youth art tent and a throwing tent where visitors can try their hand at using a potters' wheel. Saturday will also feature My Adventure Theater, an interactive theater experience where young people can create and star in their own show.
The festival also features live entertainment, including an International Night event on Friday featuring Caribbean, Irish and Tejano music. Saturday's entertainers also include Genevieve Rose, winner of the 2013 Q95 Texaco Country Showdown, at noon, followed by Beatles tribute band Toppermost at 1 p.m.
The Croswell Opera House has two shows taking place during Art-A-Licious weekend: "All Shook Up," which has a 2:30 p.m. matinee Friday and an 8 p.m. performance Saturday, and "The Zany & Bedore Comedy Tour," an adults-only show at 8 p.m. Friday.
Festival hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. The art fair portion of the festival runs until 8 p.m. each day.
