Saline Farmers Market Moves Downtown on May 7

Happy Mother's Day

Spring is here and the Saline Farmers Market moves to its outdoor location on S. Ann Arbor Street downtown this Saturday, May 7.  Summer hours are 8am-noon.

The market begins with starter vegetable and herb plants, bedding plants, hanging baskets and planters, shrubs, spring veggies including asparagus, lettuce (romaine, leaf, butterhead), kale, spinach, arugula, and radishes as well as a variety of baked goods.  Also available will be eggs, meat, honey, maple syrup, local cheese, coffee, chips and salsa, hand-crafted products and crafts and much more.

Bridge Card is accepted.  Master Gardeners will be at the market to answer your gardening questions.

Special this Saturday will be volunteers who work with rescued animals.  Stop by and say hi to a couple of dogs who want new homes.  Friends of Michigan Animal Rescue and Roughneck Rescue.
