"Spooky Species" at The Creature Conservancy

Join us for an exciting event filled with classic Halloween creatures... owls, ravens, bats and more!

At our annual Halloween Party, you’ll get to meet many live animals face to face, one of which is an actual Monster! During these hour-long programs, we’ll discuss some myths and legends as we replace fiction with facts about these amazing creatures. These interactive programs offer hands-on opportunities with several of the animals along with time for questions.

The 5:00pm - 6:30pm sessions (Oct 24 and 25) are for families with children aged 6+, and include an hour-long animal presentation followed by cider, doughnuts, and a half-hour of fun kids’ Halloween activities including a straw maze, bounce house, and more. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

The 7:00pm - 8:30pm sessions (Oct 24 and 25) are for adults, and families with teens. These presentations involve a longer animal presentation with more complex discussion and are not recommended for children younger than 12. Enjoy cider and doughnuts after the program, and more hands-on opportunities with some of our coolest spooky species!

There is a 3:00pm - 4:30pm session (Oct 26 only) is for all ages!

Cost: Registration required. Limited seating. $12 per person (paid with registration) plus a food donation for the animals. The foods needed most are quality brands of canned and dry cat and dog food.
