Still time to enroll for fall quarter at Baker College of Jackson

Classes begin Monday, Sept. 29, with registration continuing through the first week of classes.

JACKSON, Mich. – Baker College of Jackson continues to enroll students for 2014 fall quarter. Classes begin Monday, Sept. 29, with registration continuing through the first week of classes.

New programs this fall include two manufacturing programs: computer numerical control (CNC) certificate and advanced manufacturing associate. Also new is the child development associate (CDA) academic foundations certificate. It helps preschool educators prepare for the CDA Credential assessment process administered by the Council for Professional Recognition.

Other bachelor’s, associate and certificate career programs offered at Baker’s Jackson campus include mechanical engineering, practical nurse certificate, paralegal, P-12 special education, cyber security, Linux/Unix systems technology, information systems, criminal justice, 9-1-1 telecommunications, corrections officer certification, early childhood education, human services, medical assistant, marketing, management, accounting, teacher preparation, radiation therapy, veterinary technology, health information technology, surgical technology and several computer information systems programs.

Financial assistance is available to students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
