Today she leads M&G’s 152 team members and supervises the printing of nearly 6,000 titles annually.
To McFarland, the certification is part of her legacy:
“This is not just a company, it’s my family. And while this industry changes in rapid response to consumer behavior we continue to find new ways to do business. We are survivors. This certification means we embrace ideas that others might not. In the male-dominated printing world, that sets us apart.”
Another distinguishing factor is that the average tenure of an M&G team member is more than nineteen years.
The company specializes in short to medium-run digital and offset printing as well as eBook conversion for self-publishers and publishing companies across the globe.
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Councils is the nation’s largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC is a resource for the more than 1,000 US companies and government agencies that rely on WBENC certification as an integral part of their supplier diversity programs.
