McNaughton & Gunn Recognized as Certified Woman-Owned Business

 

Saline, MI October 7, 2013:  McNaughton & Gunn (M&G), a Michigan-based book manufacturer received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by CEED, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

The WBENC national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection.                                            

                                                                                                                             
Julie McFarland, President of M&G and self-proclaimed “Book Brat” grew up in the company her father co-founded with his four business partners in 1975.

 

Today she leads M&G’s 152 team members and supervises the printing of nearly 6,000 titles annually.

 

To McFarland, the certification is part of her legacy:

Another distinguishing factor is that the average tenure of an M&G team member is more than nineteen years.
