2 Found Shot To Death Inside Shelby Township Home: Police
Although police are looking into "suspicious" circumstances in the shooting, they said there is no danger to the public.
SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — A man and woman were found shot to death Monday morning inside a Shelby Township home, police said.
Officers found the 42-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man shot dead in a home on Whispering Oak Lane, in the area of 25 Mile and Jewell roads, police said.
Although police are looking into "suspicious" circumstances in the shooting, they said there is no danger to the public. Police also said they cannot rule out domestic violence.

"At this time, additional information on the subjects will not be available, but our department wishes to relay that there is no danger to the public," police said. "The Shelby Township Police Department is still investigating this incident and cannot rule out domestic violence as a contributing factor."
No further information was released by police, as investigators were still working to determine the exact cause of death.
