Today's riddle: What did the tractor say to the plow? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Romeo blasts Eisenhower in MAC Red opener (macombdaily.com) — Utica football fans saw a tough night at Swinehart Field as Romeo capitalized on Utica Eisenhower's early miscues and rolled to a 56-7 MAC Red-opening win. Big plays on the ground and through the air quickly put the Eagles in a deep hole, though coaches on both sides praised their players' effort and looked ahead to the rest of the conference season.
• Macomb County man, 20, killed by suspected lightning strike in Florida (macombdaily.com) — A former Utica High School cross-country runner from nearby Shelby Township has died in Florida after an apparent lightning strike while out on a walk near Walt Disney World. The 20-year-old had just started the Disney College Program and was training for the Chicago Marathon, and his family is remembering him as a kind, funny young man deeply loved by relatives and friends.
