AT&T Providing Faster Service in Parts of Utica

More network capacity allows for faster Internet from smartphones.

People who live and work in Utica are getting mobile Internet speeds up to four times faster than what their smartphones previously could perform because of upgrades in three areas in town.

The faster speeds will be most noticed in three key areas: east of Dequindre Road, north of Hamlin Road; east of Mound Road, north of 25 Mile Road and at 23 Mile Road, near Aldin Drive.

Utica is among eight communities in Macomb County getting the latest upgrades.

“We’re excited to bring faster speeds to Macomb County residents and businesses,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan. “We know our customers are living their lives on the go. We want to help them get the most out of their mobile devices – whether they’re watching videos, texting family and friends or posting to social media.”
