Baby Falcons Make 1st Public Appearance in Mt. Clemens

Macomb County's feathered royalty introduced 3 new members to its family Monday.

Think of them as feathered royalty, Macomb County’s Prince George or Princess Charlotte.

The triplet male peregrine falcons of Nick and Hathor—Peace, Aggie and COMTEC II—were introduced to Mt. Clemens on Monday, as they were banded, examined and named, according to a Detroit Free Press report.

The falcon couple have nested outside the 11th floor of Mt. Clemens’s old county building since 2008, and Hathor has made the building home since 2005, the report stated.

In 2012, Nick and Hathor hatched two male falcons, Otis and Webber.
