Baker College offers scholarships to members of any Macomb County chamber of commerce

Renewable scholarships of up to $500 per quarter for the 2015-2016 academic year are available for pursuit of a business program.

Baker College of Clinton Township is offering renewable scholarships up to $500 to individual members and employees of business members of any chamber of commerce in Macomb County who wish to pursue business programs during the 2015-2016 academic year.

The scholarships range from $200 to $500 per quarter, depending on the number of credit hours enrolled, and are renewable through 2016 summer quarter with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Classes for 2015 fall quarter begin Monday, Sept. 28.

“Chambers work for the betterment of their communities,” said Patricia A. Kaufman, Ed.D., Baker College of Clinton Township president. “We want to support their efforts by providing quality business education to those who are in positions to make a difference in our community.”

The Clinton Township campus offers five bachelor’s and nine associate business degrees. They include accounting, business administration-accelerated, human resource management, management, marketing, administrative professional, entrepreneurship and paralegal.

The scholarships are available for courses taken any quarter on the campus at 34950 Little Mack Ave., Clinton Township through Sept. 1, 2016.
