Bella Rose Bridal Boutique

My name is Salam Zahr, and each Friday I will visit a different boutique in Shelby-Utica to showcase the latest styles they have available.
This week, I visited the Bella Rose Bridal Boutique on Hayes Road. The store has only been open for a year, but they already have a loyal customer base.
The boutique is owned by mother and daughter Michelle Sims and Brittany Alfonsi. Sims' husband Scott also helps manage the store.

Sims and Alfonsi managed a bridal salon in Sterling Heights that closed its doors after 18 years. They then decided to open their own place, where they could use the knowledge and experience they had both gained in the business.
The decor at Bella Rose is sleek, a reflection of the combined personalities of Sims and Alfonsi. It is not your typical bridal salon.

"We want it to be more homey than sterile," Sims said. "It's like a hangout spot."
Bella Rose Bridal Boutique carries a large selection of bridal gowns, footwear, jewelry, and more. They also offer gorgeous tiaras and veils.
Most of the items at Bella Rose come from New York, California, Michigan, and Texas. They also get in special items from designers such as Simone Carvalli and Rosa Clara.
Each year, the family participates in a charity show, usually in the spring.
This week's newest finds include beautiful prom dresses, dazzling jewelry, and killer shoes including sparkling pumps by Benjamin Adams.
This Saturday, Bella Rose is hosting a bridal show from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
