By the Book! Future educators pen children's stories

Students in the Utica Community Schools Future Educators program are doing everything by the book - literally.

Future Educators members from across the district have penned and illustrated a series of Children’s' books to share with elementary students.

Students in the UCS program wrote books about self-esteem, family, bullying, chicken pox, and diversity. They wrote the original text and edited, illustrated and assembled the books. Future Educators also composed a book jacket

The books were shared with elementary students to help promote the positive messages and reinforce the importance of writing.
