“Participating in Boston’s Cares is an experience unlike any other,” said Nick Samp, General Manager of Boston’s of Shelby Township. “We get to do what we do every day but we know that it is contributing to helping hungry children get fed. It is amazing to be part of a national company that gives back and that allows us to participate on a local level in our own community.”

The national Boston’s Cares campaign is expected to raise over $28,000 in just 3 short weeks. This campaign is part of a continued effort for the Boston’s Pizza Foundation to raise funds for national charities. In 2015, alone, the Boston’s Pizza Foundation hosted multiple initiatives including an annual Golf Tournament and other year-round fundraising events in support of its national and local charity partners. Since its inception in 2003, the Boston’s Pizza Foundation has raised more than $1,500,000 in support of charities across the United States.

Hunger is an epidemic that is threatening America’s future by preventing children from reaching their full potential. The No Kid Hungry campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches families how to prepare healthy, affordable meals. The campaign also engages the public to make ending childhood hunger a national priority.
