Burr Elementary accepts the challenge
Two UCS schools square off in the Ice Bucket Challenge

A challenge between two district schools recently met with a cold reception.
Burr Elementary took the “Ice Bucket Challenge” on Wednesday after being challenged by their peers at Schwarzkoff in the charity benefit for ALS.
“In less than 24 hours, we had over more than 100 community members and raised almost $900.00. The Burr community is a true family that always comes together in a time of need,” said Principal Michael Hardy. “Burr is my home and I believe the community feels the same way.”
