Resurrection Cemetery will host a Memorial Day Mass, as well as a Veteran' service beginning at 10:00 am in section 55.The event will feature a 21-gun salute and taps by local veterans. Come together as we honor loved ones and fallen heroes alike. Father Michael Quaine of St. Michael Catholic Community will preside over a beautiful Memorial Day Mass. The gathering will be tented and situated amidst the gorgeous greenscape of Resurrection Cemetery.After Mass, community fellowship and delicious refreshments, head over to the American Veterans Memorial for the dedication of veteran tablets.

Our mothers hold one of the most sacred and cherished places in our hearts, and this day offers a special opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate their love.While visiting your loved one at Resurrection Cemetery, please stop by Section 5–6 between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM to receive a special keepsake, a prayer card for Mom, and a seed packet you may plant at her resting place or in your garden at home in her honor.Guests are also invited to enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts during the event (available while supplies last).&nbsp;You will also have the opportunity to create a memory ribbon and place it on our memorial trellis as a beautiful tribute to your beloved mother, grandmother, or mother-figure.We look forward to sharing this meaningful time of remembrance and prayer with you.&nbsp;All are welcome as we gather in faith, love, and remembrance.Additional Information: • Cemetery gates open: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Cemetery office hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

The Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site

The Packard Farmers Market returns for the 2026 season at the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site. Formerly the Shelby Farmers Market, the rebranded market runs Saturdays from May 16 through October 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Shop local farmers, artisans, bakers, and makers in a historic outdoor setting. The market is open on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends and closed Saturday, July 4. Proceeds support the preservation of the Packard Proving Grounds.
