Duncan Elementary students experiment with their love of science
"The best part about the science fair was that we were able to touch some of the things on display."
With an investigation data board grasped firmly in hand, each student quickly transformed the school gymnasium into a scientific laboratory for the second annual Duncan fifth grade Science Fair.
Despite the cool weather, the evening of Tuesday, May 12 was perfect for the students, their parents and extended family members to eat ice cream and listen to the young scientists explain the outcome of their scientific investigations.
The student eagerly answered questions from a steady stream of visitors throughout the evening. “The best part about the science fair was that we were able to touch some of the things on display,” said a young visitor.
