Ebeling students embrace Michigan winter fun

Winter arrived just in time for Ebeling Elementary students.

The school's sixth-graders took advantage of the recent snowfalls to go on their Physical Education sponsored Skiing Field Trip to Mt. Holly.

During the months of January and February, ski areas across the state team up with Michigan McDonald's restaurants to offer an affordable introduction to the sport of skiing.

Discover Michigan Skiing includes a beginner lesson, ski rental equipment, and a beginner area ski lift pass. This gives students the opportunity to try skiing at a nominal fee.

Many Ebeling students and their families have gone on to join Utica Community Schools sponsored Ski Clubs and have made it a family event to ski together and help promote a healthy lifestyle.
